First-Time Setup: Granting Camera Permission
When you open the app for the very first time, you need to grant permission to access your camera:
- Open the App: Tap and open the FreeCam Studio app on your Android phone.
- Permission Popup: A prompt will appear on your screen asking: "Allow FreeCam Studio to take pictures and record video?"
- Grant Access: Tap "While using the app" or "Allow".
Method 01: Connecting via Wi-Fi
Both your computer and smartphone must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Open FreeCam Studio on your Android device and note the IP Address (e.g., 192.168.8.150).
- Launch the FreeCam PC Client application on your computer.
- Enter your phone's IP address and click WIFI.
Method 02: Connecting via USB Cable (ADB)
- Go to Phone Settings -> About Phone -> Tap Build Number 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Go to Developer Options and turn on USB Debugging.
- Connect via USB, open PC Client, and click the USB connect button. Tap Allow on your phone prompt.
